Pillar Technology is an AI consultancy that helps small and medium-sized businesses work smarter, with less stress on the owner.
Our founder, Nathan Shelton, has spent nearly a decade as a project manager, program manager, and business systems analyst. His work has covered financial services, healthcare technology, music rights, and hospitality, including companies like Loews Hotels, BMI, and Sharecare. In those roles he has done the same thing again and again: sit down with the people who do the work, find where time and money are leaking, and fix it. That meant modernizing client onboarding, consolidating data across disconnected systems, overhauling executive reporting, and leading teams through major software transitions.
He is a Certified ScrumMaster, and his work in applied AI won the 2025 NFP PMO AI Applications Competition. That experience is the foundation of Pillar Technology: practical help for businesses that don't have an IT department. We start by listening to find the pain points, such as manual processes, scattered spreadsheets, and repetitive tasks. Then we build practical automation and AI solutions that give owners their time back.
